We all use language differently, and there may be times in a relationship - new or old - that we need help to reestablish the way we talk to our partner, not just so that we are listened to, but so that we are really heard and understood.

Based on techniques taught by couples counsellors and communication experts, we will look at ways that we are holding back, and possibly misinterpreting what it being said through reacting in fear and feeling attacked. By creating a safe space for conversations, we are able to feel more relaxed and open, and really connect with partners. Practical skills will be provided and session summaries sent via email to ensure that these tools can be practiced between sessions.
